Brazil Offshore 2007
In the 4th Brazil Offshore event, held from 19th to 22nd June, at the Centro de Convenções Jornalista Roberto Marinho (convention center), in Macaé – Rio de Janeiro State, there were 538 companies representing 35 countries. Featuring an exhibition area of 27 thousand square meters, this event, considered the third largest in the world for the oil & gas and naval# offshore unit construction areas, received approximately 40 thousand visitors.
It was the second time Forship had participated. With its ample 48-square-metre floor area, the Forship stand hosted its clients and collaborators, and received representatives from various major offshore enterprises.
On display at the stand were the HMSWeb tool for mechanical completion and commissioning management, a demonstration of Forship’s progressive expansion into the international market, as well as a presentation regarding its very latest sphere of activity, namely provision of maintenance services.
According to Célia Malina of the Commercial Department, Forship’s participation in the event was positive, as it highlighted the need and importance of commissioning services in engineering projects, and commented that it would reap benefits from the excellent opportunity to present its latest market focus - Industrial Maintenance.
