Internal Auditing
In the period 12th – 14th July, the first internal audit since the ISO 9001:2000 certification was conducted in the Forship office. The main aim was to verify the suitability and efficacy of the quality system in relation to the requirements of norm ISO 9001, besides being part of the activities for maintenance of the certification and continuing the training course for the company’s internal auditors.
Upon conclusion of the audit, it was verified that some points should be perfected, such as the training of collaborators in the quality procedures and policy, and improvement of the interfaces among Forship’s departmental processes.
As a result of this activity, it can be affirmed that the company’s system of quality management is undergoing a maintenance phase, which serves to underline the importance of internal audits as essential tools for the evolution of this system (SGQ-FS).
