Forship Seeks Expansion Via International Market
11/03/2004With the objective of further consolidating its foothold in the international market, Forship Engenharia, a Brazilian service enterprise engaged in the oil & gas, energy and shipbuilding industries, is set to centralize its commercial operations in the Mexican Gulf at its representative office, situated in Houston, Texas. As well as the brand new office that came into operation in February, there are good prospects, in this same first semester, of opening another in Angola, directed towards the West African market.

Forship Support for POLOTEC - Niterói Technological Pole
18/12/2003Niterói has taken a major leap toward becoming one of the greatest technological support centres for the shipbuilding and offshore industry in the country. The inauguration of the Niterói Polotec (technological pole situated in Niterói and neighbouring municipalities), which took place in December 2003, marked the integration of academic infrastructure, composed of some of Rio de Janeiro's main centres of excellence, such as Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF [Fluminense Federal University] and Unilasalle, which will further enhance the aptitude of this region that already embraces around 30 leading offshore enterprises.

Forship prepares work package for P-43 and P-48
20/10/2003A Forship Engenharia team is in the documentation verification and task definition phase aimed at commencing the field procedures aboard the P-43 and P-48 production platforms. The contract bears the client name, Halliburton Serviços, Petrobras’ main contractor for project development in the Barracuda-Caratinga fields.

Forship/Penpower Consortium contracted for Termopernambuco
09/04/2003Last February, Forship Engenharia and the OP Termope consortium have signed a letter of intent relating to the provision of commissioning, start-up and assisted operation services for the Termopernambuco thermal power plant in Recife. A Forship team is already on site preparing the start of operations. The services will be performed in a consortium with the North American company, Penpower.

P-43 and P-48 Commissioning and Manuals
01/12/2002KBR, of the Halliburton group, has signed three contracts with Forship, involving the Petrobras platforms P-43 and P-48. Our engineers are in Singapore as leading specialists, accompanying the field supervisors in the execution of the pre-commissioning activities. The second contract is for provision of consulting services for management of the qualified manpower for execution of the physical activities of the commissioning.
